Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do our classes work?

We value consistency. Students typically attend up to four sessions a week for Maths and English, and three hours weekly for Science. Placement is based on their level, assessed during induction. Frequent attendance drives real progress. We teach every topic from the ground up—not just revision. All lessons are recorded, and if prerequisites are needed, we offer quick catch-ups or self-guided support. Students join live Zoom classes through their dashboard. Mics can be used for questions; webcams stay off for safety. We don’t just cover content—we teach students how to study smarter. That independence lasts far beyond the classroom.

  • Do students take an assessment before starting?

Yes, all students take an assessment in English, Maths, and Science to determine their current level and which class they should join.

  • Where does my child start?

This is a common question. The most important thing is that your child knows which level of classes they should join. We recommend students not worry about the number of lessons on the dashboard—it can look overwhelming at first, but there's no need to stress. All our lessons are recorded and uploaded, which means students can always go back and review. We teach every chapter from the ground up, so no prior knowledge is expected. If a chapter is needed as a prerequisite, we let students know in advance so they can either review it or join a quick revision session. That way, everyone stays on track.

  • How do I keep track of progress?

At Tutor365, we track progress differently. Instead of marking every piece of work, students complete assessments at the end of each chapter or term. These should be taken under proper exam conditions at home, with parents ensuring fairness. About a week later, we release video solutions and review the test in class. Students—or their parents—are expected to mark the paper honestly. This self-assessment is essential for real improvement. Our assessments are built to reflect real exam standards, so taking them seriously makes a big impact.

  • What if I miss a live class?

All lessons are recorded and uploaded. The most recent session is always at the top, just below the live class section. It’s labeled “Previous Session” followed by the chapter title we’re currently working on. If a student joins midway through a chapter or misses a class for any reason, it's important they catch up on the missed lessons to stay on track with the current material.

  • How can I find the homework?

We don’t assign traditional homework. Tutor365 isn’t a typical tutoring platform—we see our students multiple times a week, and the practice they need is already built into the lessons. That embedded work takes the place of extra homework and is more than enough to reinforce their learning. As long as students attend every class—or catch up on any missed sessions, especially if they join midway through a chapter or have other commitments—they’ll stay on track.

  • What do I do if I have more than one child?

At Tutor365, the second child gets 50% off, and any additional children get 75% off. Create a separate account for each child, then contact Student Services via WhatsApp (+44 7496017811) or email ([email protected]) for your discount code. Each child needs their own account to track progress and complete assessments without overlap.

  • Can I cancel at any time?
